These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern estimates, proposals, and roofing services provided by AGS Roofing (Always Great Service) (“AGS Roofing,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By requesting an estimate, approving a proposal, or authorizing work to begin, you (“Customer,” “you,” “your”) agree to these Terms.

Estimates are based on measurements and conditions observable at the time of inspection. Roofing systems can conceal conditions not visible until tear-off or closer access is available. If additional work is needed beyond the approved scope, AGS Roofing will communicate the recommended change and associated cost. Customer approval (written, email, text message, or recorded verbal approval) authorizes change order work.

• Project dates may change due to rain, high winds, lightning risk, extreme heat, unsafe conditions, or material availability.
• Customer provides reasonable access to the work area and ensures gates are unlocked as needed.
• Customer secures pets and removes or protects fragile items near work zones (vehicles, patio items, decor).

Payment terms are stated on the proposal/invoice. Deposits may be required to schedule work and/or order materials. Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the approved scope, including approved change orders.

If payment is not made when due, AGS Roofing may suspend work, withhold non-emergency warranty service until the account is current, and pursue lawful collection remedies.

Lifetime Labor Warranty (installation) - 

AGS Roofing provides a Lifetime Labor Warranty on roofs we install, covering labor for installation-related defects that cause the roof system to fail due to workmanship, subject to the following conditions:

• Customer must notify AGS Roofing promptly after discovering a suspected workmanship issue.
• Customer must provide reasonable access for inspection and repairs.
• Repairs or modifications by others without prior written approval may void coverage for the affected area.

Limited Lifetime Shingle Warranty (manufacturer) - 

Shingles used by AGS Roofing may include a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Manufacturer warranties are issued, interpreted, and decided by the manufacturer. Coverage, exclusions, and requirements vary by product line and may require documentation and inspection.

Common exclusions - 

• Storm events and acts of God (hail, wind, flooding, falling debris/trees), fire, vandalism.
• Normal wear, cosmetic changes, or damage caused by foot traffic, third parties, animals, or homeowner modifications.
• Pre-existing conditions, structural movement/settling, or issues outside the agreed scope of work.

AGS Roofing may provide measurements, photos, and documentation of visible conditions. Coverage determinations and claim payments are made by the insurance carrier based on the policy. Customer is responsible for the deductible and any non-covered items or upgrades.

AGS Roofing performs a final clean-up and reasonable nail sweeping. Roofing work involves nails and debris and no contractor can guarantee removal of every nail from soil, gravel, or landscaping.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AGS Roofing’s liability for any claim related to services performed will not exceed the amount paid for the specific portion of services giving rise to the claim. AGS Roofing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
